How I made my own ritual with the candles:

A candle relaxing ritual is a simple and effective way to calm your mind, body and soul. It involves gazing at a candle flame and focusing on your breathing. Here are some steps you can follow to try a candle relaxing ritual:

  • Choose one of the Novenary candles that has a scent that matches your intention. 

  • Find a dark, quiet and comfortable place where you won’t be disturbed. 

  • I hold the stone and I write an intention for the mini meditation ritual.

  • Place the candle in front of you at eye level on a table where you can sit comfortably.

  • Light the candle and take a few deep breaths to settle in. 

  • Gently rest your gaze on the candle flame and observe its shape, colour and movement. Keep your gaze soft.

  • Breathe slowly and deeply, inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth. Feel the warmth of the candle and the scent of the wax filling your senses. 

  • I set a timer for 3-5 minutes, so when the timer goes off, slowly open your eyes and take a few more breaths. 

  • Thank the candle for its light and energy, and blow it out gently, or keep it burning to infuse the home with those lovely meditative thoughts. Notice how you feel after the meditation.
